Cynicism is something I struggle with now and then – it is difficult not to be when negative stories about humankind seem so overwhelming – at least there seems to be more than there are “good” news stories. But then again, we are drawn to the horrific like moths to a flame – bad news sells and that’s why there is so much of it.

    And then something happens and I start noticing all the beauty, kindness, and genuine goodness about people and the world we live in. Hang in there, “this, too, shall pass”.
